When I Read You Like a Book
(For Jyotika, at intimate distance)
When I read you like a book
the chapters just wouldn't end
as if heaven itself were the book
When I read you like a lyrical verse
every word bears another new word
as if you were an ocean of layers
So I read you like a narrative, a tale
in which I search myself, a word
and find them all as your synonyms
